Fire! Fire ! Smoke in town? or Tornardo in the Sky?

Fire or Tornado?

No red alert. Just the cloud
911? Red alert? No. Just happened to be at the highway exit near Taman Sejati Indah in Sungai Petani, Kedah on December 29, 2010 to meet some of my clients. I was waiting at the traffic light junction and noticed the uniquely shaped cloud forming above the sky. Wound down my windscreen and shoved out my faithful Olympus FE-115 to snap at it. The clouds in the sky were changing all the time and it change shapes very fast when the wind blew it over.  It was near the hotel called Emerald Puteri Hotel (MS Garden Hotel). Nearby MS Garden Hotel is another hotel named Park Avenue.  Park Avenue Hotel was equipped with bowling alleys and it was reported to belong to the late tycoon Tan Sri Eric Chia Eng Hock.

According to the local news reported, the late tycoon who was known to be a Director and CEO of Perwaja had sued the DAP Secretary General who is our present Penang Chief Minister, Mr Lim Guan Eng who had in 1996, lodged a police report on the alleged mismanagement of the company financial. He was acquitted of committing Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT) at the Kuala Lumpur Session court in June 2007. The counsel for the late tycoon had applied to the court to discontinued the suit against Mr Lim Guan Eng and the High Court had granted the discontinuance of the suit on April, 2009. The late tycoon was reported to have died of a heart attack at the age 74 on June 24, 2008 at his Park Avenue Hotel in Sungai Petani which is another hotel about 300 meter from MS Garden hotel. May his soul rest in peace.
